No matter the size of the job or how complex it may be, Alaska Mechanical Inc. (AMI) has the fabrication capabilities that allow us to self-perform any scope of work. AMI’s facility is equipped with a 1-ton crane, plasma cutter, welders, and a rollout machine. We can fabricate piping for all types of construction projects to include medical, educational, central plants, bulk fuel, and water/wastewater facilities.
We utilize innovation and the latest industry tools to ensure our team delivers accurate and coordinated drawings to support the spooling, prefabrication, and installation effort. By doing so, our results speak for themselves, and our clients receive a well-fabricated, quality product that is assembled accurately and within the specifications of the job. Throughout our 45+ years of operation, we have learned many valuable lessons from the work we’ve performed. One of those lessons is that by pre-planning and making purposeful choices on the supplies we use, we cannot only save you time and money, but avoid errors. By prefabricating spools in-house, we have learned that this makes us not only fast and efficient, but incredibly accurate. Other benefits of prefabrication are an increase in productivity, greater quality control, and shorter time on-site. These benefits directly impact cost, time, safety, and success of our projects. We firmly believe that prefabrication of pipe spools, pipe supports, skid, and modular assemblies is both critical and necessary for our continued success in providing quality work for our clients.
