This project included the construction of two new 1,590-cubic meter (10,000 barrel) above ground welded steel jet fuel (JP-8) storage tanks with impervious dikes and internal floating pans; installation of 2,900m of 350mm nominal diameter (DN350) single-wall stainless steel pipe; fifteen 38 L/s below grade, aircraft fueling hydrant outlets; connections to the existing DN250 issue pipe; construction of a 152 L/s POL pump house/operations building; construction of a truck fill stand; and complete site improvements, including pavement, two access roads, utilities, and lights. Demolition activities included three pump houses, 14 USTs, underground piping, and valve pits.
